Why it carries weight
A result that means something
SEBC is a prestigious competition, and it is run like one. There is one category, one rubric, and a small number of places at the top.
- Every entry is read and scored by the judging panel, using one rubric.
- Everyone is judged on the same five areas, to the same standard, whatever their age.
- Only the top 3 entries win a place, and three special awards recognise what a score can’t.
- Every entrant gets written feedback and a certificate, so the effort is never wasted.
